Maricela helped us tremendously when we were looking for a house in the Berkeley area. Andy Pitarre is a gem! Buying a house in Oakland is absolute madness, but Andy made it somewhat saner for me. Andy is knowledgeable about houses in the East Bay. He seems to know all the agents and gets his clients a seat at the bidding table (hugely important in this crazy market). I purchased a house and sold my house with him and his stellar team. He was able to turn around my house and get it to market 2 weeks after I moved out! His team of agents and contractors are the best in the area AND incredibly kind people. This is the second time that we have worked with Andy and Britnee to purchase a replacement property for a 1031 exchange. The time frame for naming a replacement property is only 45 days, so it makes the process a bit nerve-wracking, especially in such a crazy market. His team is extremely knowledgeable and well-connected, so was able to refer us to the right lenders, exchange companies, contractors, roofers, etc. He understood our needs and helped us to narrow down the kind of property that would be a good fit. We were able to have an accepted offer, after only making two. He also went above and beyond by making sure that necessary repairs were made to the roof, by the Seller, prior to the close of escrow.
